Conditional Publishing – Start when it’s sunny and pause when it rains

We launched a new Facebook advertising feature in The Next Ad which allows you to (re)act on external data such as your product feed, the weather conditions or stock market results. Others may know this feature under the name: if this then that (IFTTT).

How to use conditional publishing?

The possibilities of conditional publishing on Facebook are endless. Just be creative and you will figure out an unique way to increase the relevancy of your ads. To explain this feature I will give you an example in the form of a case.

Imagine you are a supermarket and it is July 21st. The forecast of the daily weather for today is a sunny day, but what if you have a campaign for a barbecue package and the prediction did not come out?

With our conditional publisher you can start the campaign when it’s sunny and you can pause the campaign when it starts to rain. You can imagine that your target audience is interested in barbecue, only when it is sunny. For the most effectivity campaigns and the best spend of your media budget conditional publishing allows you to reach that goal.

Do you want to know how you can set up an Facebook advertising campaign with our conditional publishing feature? Just contact us and we love to help you out.
